Jim and Andrea would like to welcome you to Acoustic Duo’s website. We are an established acoustic duo who have been playing together for 5years in and around Kent and Sussex. With Jim on acoustic guitar and myself ( Andrea) on vocals our energy and passion for music makes a simple melody come alive.		Jim has been playing guitar since the age of 14 and has over the years played in various Rock and Blues and Covers Bands. A virtuoso of his instrument he makes the guitar sing. Strongly influenced by many great guitarists including Joe Satriani, Yngwie Malmsteen, Walter Trout, Albert King and Steve Vai to name but a few. This also includes many acoustic artists such as Bob Dylan, Monte Montgomery, and John Martyn.

I have been singing all my life but only started singing to audiences in 2006. Having grown up with my vocalist step dad, Steve Scott, I spent many years around the Country Music scene. I listened to music from many different genre’s over the years. I spent a lot of time singing along to country music and pop records and perfecting my vocals.		Acoustic Duo UK have played at various venues for many different events from normal pub music nights to Festivals, Christmas / Birthday Parties and Weddings, some of my influences are, Kelly Willis, Nancy Griffith's, Shania Twain, plus various other notable singers.
